One duty at work involves working the 05.27 Warrington - Doncaster enterprise forward from Wakefield. At first glance a simple turn but nothing ever is...because the brand new vans it conveys have to be unloaded at Doncaster with their bonnets facing a certain direction it means the train first has to be taken to Wakefield Euro Terminal at Normanton to run round the train. Only then can the train go forward to Doncaster and be placed in the europort for discharge, itself a 45-60 minute shunt to position them. Add another loco dead in train and put 66001 into the mix ( a nightmare of an oddball loco ) its more than meets the eye in terms of work. Anyhow here the complete formation is seen near Crofton waiting a path.
