St Moritz – observation platform above the lake
Comparing notes about the great jump in the lake. The guy on the left was a buddy of the three jumpers, who was recording all the fun – here comparing and exchanging videos taken of the spectacle.
If we had continued with our walk all the way around the lake, we would have missed all this fun. We got about half way but decided to come back because we hadn't yet checked out of our hotel (the Schweizerhof), and weren't sure about how long the whole walk-around would take. Once checked out, we were then free to do other things before catching our mid-afternoon train on to Zürich.
The St Moritz experience was topped off with the first banana splits since Austria in 2011, sitting under an umbrella in a village plaza, as the last thing before heading to the railway station ... as you do!
