Harley Warrick's work

Harley Warrick was discharged from the army in 1946. When Mail Pouch painters came to paint the barn on his family's barn they had an opening on one of their four 2-man teams. The pay was $28 a week plus a 1 and a half cent per square foot production incentive. Harley's take home pay could be $32 a week.

For 20 years Harley's pace was 2 to 3 barns a day, six days a week.

This is one of his barns along Ohio State Route 26 in Moss Run located across the road from Biehl's Store.
