Chuck Norris Does Meatloaf

And you thought I just take good pictures!

 

Chuck's Meatloaf Recipe:

 

_2 Lbs lean ground beef, ground turkey or meatloaf mix (ground beef and pork)

_1Small Onion (about 2 inch dia)

_1 Egg

_1/3 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs

_1/2 Cup Ketchup

_1/2 Cup Grape Jelly

 

Dice onion and mix with ground meat.

 

Blend grape jelly and ketchup together. You'll need to save half of it to cover the meatloaf when it is almost finished baking.

 

Beat egg. I know you hate doing it but its necessary.

 

Mix 1/2 jelly/ketchup, beaten egg and breadcrumbs into meatloaf mixture

 

I was kidding about taking good pictures.

 

Shape mixture into loaf. Place in baking pan, Corning Ware dish or whatever you have that will accommodate a 2 pound meatloaf in a hot oven. Add about 1/4 cup water to baking pan.

 

You should be able to tell whether it fits or not. If not, keep taking pictures.

 

Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for one hour.

 

Remove foil. Cover meatloaf with the remaining 1/2 of the ketchup/jelly mix and place back in the oven for about 10 minutes. Take care not to burn it.

 

Disclaimer: Your oven baking time and temperature may vary. I cannot be blamed if it all turns badly. My Kenmore is a dandy. Just keep an eye on it.

 

**For mini loafs, separate into two loaves and bake for 30 minutes. For smaller ones yet, separate into 4 loaves and bake for 15 minutes.

Any smaller, just use your toaster.
