Manhattan Bridge, 10.25.14
Joined Shorewalkers on 10.25.14 for the Great Manhattan Bridges Walk, a walk across all the bridges connecting Manhattan to the other NYC boroughs. We started at George Washington Bridge, which connects upper Manhattan with New Jersey, and ended in Brooklyn Bridge, which connects Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. I ended my walk just before the Brooklyn Bridge entryway as the night before I walked the bridge's entire length from Manhattan to Brooklyn. We crossed 16 bridges during our 12 hour walk which covered 27 miles. A tiring but satisfying day.
