Ukraine dropped the 25th, 26th, and 27th air borne brigades into Georgia today. The drops proved a success taking the georgians by surprise.
The most veteran of the 3 being the 25th dropped on the outskirts of Tsalka. They quickly worked there way into the large town establishing a position. They have been having light fighting with georgian forces at the position forward post but have taken no causalities yet.
The 26th dropped on the outskirts of Oni with the intent of taking the town. Meeting enemy forces as they moved into the area loosing 5 men but quickly over whelmed the small force. They have now taken the town establishing positions for defense of any other attacks.
The 27th dropped on the outskirts of Poti. They moved into the city meeting decent resistance. So far taking a good 3/4 of the city and surrounding Georgian forces in the city they close in quickly. A causality amount is not clear at this time.
The 1st Ukrainian SF, known as Вовки (Wolves), has also landed via sea establishing a beach head on Anakilia Beach. These forces Quickly took the town of Anakilia due to being accompanied by a light armor company.
The 2nd Ukrainian SF, and 3rd also landing via sea established a much larger beach head at Tskurgili and Akhali Kindghi Beaches. These units where also joined by a company of light armor.
Ukrainian vessels are in root and currently off shore of the Georgian Coast. Air support is also on stand by incase needed.
Ukraine hopes to take the country with as little as possible civilian and Military casualties making the use of non-persition air strikes and bombing a non existent form of Ukrainian fighting for now.
The invasion has been a large success so far...
