Pierce Point Ranch
After you enter the Elk Reserve, Pierce Point Road descends the shoulder of the ridge and circles around past Pierce Point Ranch. The ranch is now an historic interpretive site. It's a lovely location with McClures Beach to the west and the Tomales Point Trail (about 8 1/2 miles round trip) heading out to the north-west on the other side of the ranch. Late in the day we were able to watch elk grazing in many locations. A really nice place to end the day.
