A pretty sunrise on Sunday. The stream from the Janes-McCormick Ravine was deeper than normal. It was pooled up behind a sandbar across its mouth. The water was draining into Lake Michigan through a small channel that ran parallel to the lake for a while before finally heading out. The heavy rainfall had also gouged a deep channel down the face of the bluff just south of here. When we came back later in the afternoon to walk with our dog, the depth of pool had dropped to just a few inches. Thanks for viewing.
