1976 Gibson Explorer Natural Electric Guitar Good
A Blast From the Past!
This 1976 Gibson Explorer Natural , Mahogany, Alan Collins! The guitar has gold hardware, 2 volumes and tone, 3 way toggle switch.
Certain mods were done to it like the machine heads were changed to Schallers and some extra holes are visible. Big finish wear on the back along with a deep scratch.
Front is clean with some wear, minor pitting in the hardware, some dings on the headstock. In the back of the headstock there mention of being made in the USA.
It looks like the original frets are still there, Rosewood fretboard, 22 frets.
The 76 Model was Reissued by Gibson a few years back making it a sought after guitar by collectors or core fans of the explorer.
The Original receipt is in the case, and it shows that it was bought at Manny’s in NY.
It also comes with a Calzone Flight Case for better protection.
