SEPTA NHSL 5-6-89 20
Interior of former Philadelphia & Western Strafford Car 162, in service on the SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line, 5/6/89. Built by Brill in 1927, the Strafford cars preceded the arrival of the famed "Bullet" cars on the P&W, which came five years later. Amazingly this one was still in daily service in 1989, and in the old PST colors no less.
Today this car is at the Rockhill Trolley Museum in Orbisonia PA.
