So Long BART "A" Cars
I read last week that the BART "A" cars from the original Rohr fleet (presently 1164-1276) that entered service beginning in 1972 had finally been retired this month. These cars saw around 50 years of service. They're "classic" in a 1970's way! I'll miss seeing them. Some photos from a 2017 visit to the shop.
