BRT 1227 Shore Line Trolley Museum 1
The Shore Line Trolley Museum at Branford, Connecticut has an amazing collection of New York City transit equipment, including a large number of elevated / subway cars. This is Brooklyn Rapid Transit "gate car" 1227, built 1903, which was out and about during a June, 2006 visit.
This is a shot of the early Westinghouse "turret" type electro-pneumatic switch group (L) and Reverser (R) used on these cars.
