Student Summer Research Awards 2016

Over 100 students from the UCD School of Medicine undertook 8 week supervised laboratory, clinical or patient-centred research projects as part of our Student Summer Research Awards initiative.

Following the completion of their projects, the students presented their research findings via poster presentations. Eight students were invited to give oral presentations to a panel of adjudicators who selected the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners at the 2016 Student Summer Research Awards.

The event took place on Thursday 13th October 2016 in the George Moore Auditorium in the UCD O'Brien Centre for Science.
