Desert Decay

Second generation EMDs work their final years on the Trona Railway as they make the daily run to Searles. The caustic environment responsible for the slow oxidation, is also the lifeblood for the railroad in the form of soda ash and borax shipments. It's somewhat of a blessing, and a curse.
