Once upon a time - The Netherlands - Lichtenvoorde-Groenloo

Without any doubt these are the treasures of a collection; two diesel-electric motorcars plan X series: 21-50 (1953-1955) nicknamed 'Blauwe Engel' (Blue Angle) crossing at a rural station on a non electrified railway line not far from the German boarder in an area called: 'Achterhoek'. Their classic blue livery gave them their name.
