if the Thai railway engineers used a manual and maybe they did but there was a lack of sufficient means. On the other hand since the construction of the track somewhere at the beginning of the last century didn't change all to much. It’s no complaint; daily many trains passing the spot on full speed without derailing. Waiting till the renovation starts and see what the new constructions will be.
