NGC 2244. The Rosette Nebula. January.2021

The Rosette Nebula is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Monoceros. The nebula is a large cloud of gas and dust that lies near a large molecular cloud and is closely associated with the open cluster NGC 2244, whose stars were formed from the nebula’s matter in the last five million years. It lies at a distance of 5,200 light years.

Added a few more subs to the previous image. Subs captured Nov, Dec 2020 and Jan 2021.
