NGC 6888. The Crescent Nebula

The Crescent Nebula, NGC6888 or Sharpless 105 is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus and lies around 5,000 light years distant. It can be described as a cosmic bubble about 25 light-years across, blown by winds from its central, bright, massive star.
