The Rosette Nebula - NGC 2244 LSHO 2019.
The Rosette Nebula is a large spherical H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the constellation of Monoceros . The open cluster NGC 2244 is closely associated with the nebulosity, the stars of the cluster having been formed from the nebula's matter. Ha data imaged on the 18th December 2019 and used as a luminance layer was added to SHO data captured earlier this year.
