The Hooch
The Chattahoochee River or, "The Hooch," rises high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia and flows southwesterly toward the Alabama state line. Archaeological evidence indicates that humans have lived along the banks of the Chattahoochee River since 1000 B.C. In the past, it used to be a major transportation artery. Today, it is valued more as a source of drinking water and recreation. The locals regularly "shoot the Hooch" using rafts, canoes, kayaks, and tubes. I plan to revisit this location in order to recapture this composition using my DSLR.
