Another from an over photographed spot.
On my last trip out of Yosemite NP I came back via the Tunnel View road right at sunset. I even told my buddy that I'll bet there are at least 50 tripods set up in the parking lot. When we got to the parking lot at Tunnel view I was not disappointed, I counted 53 tripods. I only stopped because I was with people who had never been to the park. We got out and I walked away from the crowd of photographers too see if I could find something a little different than what EVERYONE else was capturing. I then found this flowering purple bush on the other side of the rock retaining wall at the end of the parking lot. I knew using this bush as a strong foreground would help keep the interest of the viewer as they look into the VERY familiar valley scene below.
