Strike a Pose - 8/52
Lately Coulee has been a fantastic portrait model. She seems to find the perfect spot to stand all on her own and because I'm not "posing" her, she keeps her natural stance and look. As soon as I step in to try and make something better, I lose her natural expression. I'm also impressed with myself for getting this while she's still wagging - if it takes me more than a second or two, her enthusiasm wanes, her tail drops and she gets a "hurry up and throw the toy" look on her face.
As an aside - this is not the image I decided to use for my Creative 52. The theme I was going for this week was "Location" and my favourite location shot barely showed Coulee which didn't seem appropriate for the 52 Weeks for Dog group. So I decided to use 2 different ones - this one for the group, and the other one for my personal project. :)
