One of My Favourite Places- 8/52
When Marlin and I first moved to Alberta we were very disappointed by how far we were from Writing on Stone Provincial Park. The images in the brochures we saw promised this incredible place. When we moved to Lethbridge (and 6 hours closer to the park) it was one of the first places we visited and we weren't disappointed.
It became even more special when I worked there for a summer as a park interpreter. It's a gorgeous and unique location and none of the photos I took today did it justice but I love the way this one shows the sudden change between the sandstone hoodoos and the prairie at it's base.
