Road to Victory

During the many wars Atlantis has fought, quick troop movement was essential. To achieve that goal, the Council ordered the construction of great stone roads. Originally, it were the soldiers who had to bear the brunt of the workload. During later years, as the roads were also being used for commerce, it were mainly paid workers or slaves who constructed them.
