In 1937 Earl A. Scheib opened the first Earl Scheib Paint and Body in Los Angeles
and grew to be a national chain painting over more than 10 million cars, Earl coined the famous slogan "'I'll paint any car, any color for $29.95. No Ups! No Extras"
This rare neon sign featuring cars circling a globe is one of the few left in the country
And although there is no longer a Scheib Paint & Body shop at this Beverly Hills location (parking lot of Cafe Talesai ) the developers had the good sense to leave this great sign and keep it in working condition
And that's a rare thing for those of us that appreciate these sort of things.........
