SAFETY FIRST

The words are barely visible on this old sign at the former GM Inland Fisher Guide plant in Syracuse, NY; but, all the switches and track that are still here tell us that at one time this was a very busy place. The train in the background is a westbound CSX freight tied down on track #8 adjacent to the New York-Chicago double track main near mile post 288.
