Varadaraja Perumal Temple - Inner Shrine
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple was originally built by the Pallavas in 1053 AD and it was expanded during the reigns of the great Chola kings Kulottunga Chola I and Vikrama Chola. It is located in Vishnu Kanchi (a part of Kanchipuram) that is home to a lot of famous Vishnu temples. The astonishing 'Nooru Kaal Mandapam' or 100 Pillar Hall has been sculpted out of a single rock.
