Supplementing The Suburbans
Now in South West Trains' inner-suburban livery, a pair of class 456 units is seen at London Waterloo. They may have been coupled to a class 455, I can't remember. Anyway, the class 456s had recently been transferred to SWT to provide additional capacity, the eventual plan being to use them to lengthen inner-suburban services to/from Waterloo to 10-car trains.
Interestingly, the word 'trains' in the 'South West Trains' logo is still orange on these units, meaning it hardly shows up against the red background of the livery.
