Much Needed Capacity
Tenby is a popular tourist destination and summer Saturday trains in particular can get rather busy. It is for this reason that the through trains to/from London which run on summer Saturdays are very welcome since (as the passenger information screen shows) First Great Western run 8 carriage trains (the normal Arriva Trains Wales services are only 2-car units).
Unfortunately, the writing's on the wall for the Pembroke Dock - London trains; they are scheduled for withdrawal from the Dec 2018 timetable change, meaning the last service will probably run in September 2018 (since it only runs on summer Saturdays).
