Random 16 Things...YIP 2009.10
I've been tagged by the sweet, adorable and wonderful {bright fizz} and finally had time to work on this. Here are 16 things totally at random:

16 Random Things:
1) I absolutely hate having portraits taken of me of any sort. I always have. I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of it. This shot here is about all I can do, for I was teased so much as a young child that I fear being ridiculed. It's in my head, I know it, years of teasing doesn't leave me...ever.
2) I was born an identical twin with a birth weight a little over 2 lbs. My twin did not survive. I've always felt something was missing.
3) I drive fast. That's all there is to it. If you're driving too slow, you're in my way.
4) Music in my car when alone is always played loud, really loud. The louder the better. If you were to turn on my stereo right now you'd hear one of my favorite discs...Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (one of the best on earth).
5) I want to be a writer and know the books I want to write inside my head. I don't know what I'm waiting for?
6) Soon I'm going to buy an acoustic guitar and learn to play. I've wanted to since I was a kid.
7) I've learned that raising children is the hardest job on earth. If anyone says it isn't, I'll tell them they're fucking nuts. That's all there is to it. Trust me...there's no manual with this job and each day brings something new. You are "ON 24/7" for the rest of your life. They require a great amount work if you want to do a good job. That's the bottom line.
8) I'm allergic to everything under the sun and suffer from asthma. I carry an inhaler everywhere I go. Now ask me how I've run marathons with it...that's 26.2 miles...???
9) My favorite meal is a good steak and asparagus. The steak has to be medium rare.
10) If I were to go out and order a drink, I'd choose one of the following... a Bass Ale, Black & Tan or a shot of Patron. If it's a good night, I have all three. No fruity, sweet drinks for me ever.
11) If you were to walk into my house at any given moment, it's always clean. I'm a neat freak and keep it tidy.
12) I have three tattoos (right ankle, small of my back, left shoulder). I love them. I love ink. I'd get more if I knew what to get and where to put them. For now, I'll stick with three.
13) One of the most fun and best moments of my life had to do with 2 coffee beans. I'll end it with that, for only I would understand and who was there with me. Just something funny and where we couldn't stop laughing in a store. Life should always be fun and happy and full of laughter over silly little things. You should be doing so with the people you absolutely love the most on earth. That's why it's one of my best moments ever.
14) My favorite gifts on earth are rocks. Real rocks from places. Some of the best treasures cost no money.
15) If asked if my cup is half full or half empty, I'd respond...half empty. Most definitely. My life is empty. Period. I know I have children and many things to fill me. I know I should be grateful for what I have, but this is the way I feel.
16) One day...one day, I'm going to give up all of what I have and move far away from this place. I'd get the fuck out of here and be by the water somewhere. Have little possessions and clutter. Travel freely. Listen to the waves. Write. Take photos. Run. Walk. Feel the breeze in my face. And live my life out doing what I want to do, not what I have to do. I don't know how or when...I just will. If I could run away now, I would. Life would be so much easier.
