Bay Bridge at Blue Hour
Yesterday afternoon while I was at work I got a call from my ' retired' friend who said ' Hey let's go take some pictures in the city!' I said ' sounds good, but some of us still have to work for a living!' Well long story short, two hours later we were heading to the city. We spent about an hour and a half scouting out some future locations that require a little pre-planning to get to, and as the sun began to set we found ourselves on the Embarcadero. I know this is a very common composition, but it is high on my list of favorite shots taken of the Bay Bridge. I have seen many great shots taken from this location and I am always amazed at how unique each one is depending on the time of day or night it was taken.
This shot was taken about five minutes after the bridge lights turned on.
