"Sea Breeze", someone new in Laguna Beach

This statue was originally supposed to be placed down on Main Beach but there were protests from surfers and others who wanted an unobstructed view of the ocean.

I'm with them. She looks lovely up on the bluff by the rose gardens and was placed there in December.

 

The sculptor is Sukhdev Dail who says "she is a mythical spirit who emerges from the sea, happy and graceful."
