October 19, 2021 - Travel to Costa Rica

This day I embarked on a trip to Costa Rica after a long break of not being able to do so. I boarded the non-stop direct flight to San Jose, Costa Rica to participate in the Conservation VIP volunteer trip of a lifetime. Everything went smoothly and I arrived at our hotel in San Jose in time to meet the rest of the volunteers at our hotel the Park Inn. After checking all of us according to the COVID protocols we convened in a conference in the hotel to have our orientation. We met our trip leaders Janice and Kelly and also the local guide Marco. After orientation we had an amazing dinner and then retired back to our rooms to get a good night's rest before we started out volunteer work the following day.
