White's 1826 Directory lists three Coaches from the Waterside Inn:
"The Royal Mail, to London by way of Brigg, Lincoln, Peterborough, and Baldock, (daily) at 9 mg. arr 6 evg.
The Express Post Coach, to London, by the same route as the Royal Mail, daily, except Sunday, at 6 evg arr. half p. 5 evening.
The Safety Coach, to and from Brigg daily, ex. Sunday, arr. quarter p. 9 mg, ret. 5 evg."
