Street Kids Shelter Bolivia

by patrick.henry0103

Amanecer was founded in 1981 by Catholic nuns in response to the packs of abandoned kids living on the streets. Boys and some girls lived and sleep with no safe place to come to. A graduated program will take a homeless youngster as far as he will allow. Some remain on the streets. Others agree to only an overnight shelter. But for many, those whose faces you see here, have come to stay and leave the street behind. These photos are the After images. The Before ones are often found in young nightmares. These are the children of the shelters of Amanecer, city of Cochabamba in Bolivia.
