Restarting.

After waiting for the passage of two trains in each direction at Hellifield on 11 August 2022, former LMS 4-6-0 46115 “SCOTS GUARDSMAN” finally manages to move from the up loop to the down loop and couple up to 1Z62, West Coast Railways’ 0825 York – Carlisle “Dalesman”.

 

The Dalesman is pictured starting out of the loop nine minutes late.
