66741 is making slow but steady progress up the Long Drag, near Selside on 26 January 2018 powering 6E69, GBRf’s 1218 Arcow Quarry to Hunslet Tilcon loaded HYA wagons.
The horizon is dominated by the lengthy ridge from Plover Hill to the outcrop of Pen-Y-Ghent.
Brought into relief by the suns angle, the iconic rakes on the western face of Pen-y-Ghent stand out clearly, apparently shaped by a huge thunderstorm in 1881.
