I did this particular technique because my f2.8 lens failed to separate foreground and the background. Many pro photographers will not agree on my views but for sure, I can say that camera is not as clever as we; it doesn’t see the thing that we see and software like PS, Lr,Topaz etc are there to help us .
Camera in many occasions fails to deliver the image what we expect to capture, it doesn’t see what we can see or what we want it to see, and therefore we have the luxury to use many software depending to our preference for post-processing, If those software were there during legendary Ansel Adam’s period I can’t imagine the kind of work he could have done. I guess he have post-process his all masterpiece in the Darkroom which is not for anybody’s cup of tea.
