this is possibly the same spider i shot before (same web). i think it is tegenaria duellica (now Tegenaria gigantea), but not 100% sure.
she was just sat on the web in broad daylight and i was able to take some good close-ups. then i noticed a distubance behind her and another similiar spider appeared. this other spider also had the large abdomen of a female. do females share nests? i have checked my books and they dont mention this behaviour.
i am probably wrong and the other spider is male.
