RCM-F

I was just digging through my codes and I found the half finished receiver for this gun I started some months ago, so I decided to dig it up, dust it off and finish it.

The Rifle, Caseless, Modular- Flechette firing is a new-age weapon system with several novel systems. It fires a caseless fin-stabilised discarding sabot AP tungsten flechette from a smoothbore barrel out to 450m in semi-automatic mode, with a caseless 39mm grenade launcher mounted under the barrel and linked to the rifle's trigger. The bolt is of an unusual type, cylindrical in shape with three grooves machined equally into it. The grooves hold a round in place to be fired, after which the gas piston is blown back, pushing on an operating slide which pushes downwards and rotates the bolt, allowing the next round to be fed into the current groove and allowing the other two grooves to cool off. The magazine is a triple stacked, top loaded magazine housing ten caseless flechettes.
