Western 436 248 678 Annan
Every hour there was an interchange in Annan. Every hour the Annan town service (far right) met with Cumberland and Western's 79 buses (the Western 79 is behind the minibus - an Alexander Y type Seddon)which kissed and turned allowing passengers to travel through between Dumfries and Carlisle. In this hour there is also Lockerbie and Powfoot services (383 and 391). Route numbers 3xx indicated that they were tendered services by Dumfries and Galloway Council. In more recent times the 79 has been fully transferred to Cumberland so buses now run through between Carlisle and Dumfries
