St. Arsenios in the Byzantine Church of St. Jason and St. Sosipater, Corfu

Paintings of St Arsenios (c.876-953) are rare, and this fresco on the N. wall of the 12th century church is more-or-less contemporary with the building, although much restored. The name Arsenios is visible at the top right of the painting. St. Arsenios was the first Archbishop of Corfu.
