Gold pendant set with a coin of Constantine, Roman Emperor AD 307-337

The hexagonal pendant has a central setting with a double-solidus of Constantine the Great. He is shown in armour, wearing the radiate crown, with an orb in his left hand and his right hand raised.

Legend D N CONSTANTINUS MAX AVG.

In the angles of the hexagon are six smaller roundels, each with a high-relief head differing in detail one from the other and probably representing mythological figures.

Late Roman, 4th century.
