Albania, Butrint / Buthrotum complex of buildings including Theatre

The archaeological site at Butrint covers a wide area, with remains of numerous ancient Greek and Roman buildings - 4th cent BC temple to Asclepius, the Agora, a gymnasium, town house, the walls, and, here, a 3rd cent BC theatre later adapted to a Roman design with a stage building (the stepped seating appears through the arches).
