You see

Here I stand

The ground not so steady

Reaching for your hand

 

Through sunshine

I take a sip of red wine

Hoping you will see

What we could be

 

Half awake I whisper my dreams

Shaken by each wave

The sea whispers back to me

Hold on, hold on

 

Knowing that half empty

Or half full is only half

I write a message

Send it in a bottle

 

And this is what it says:

 

Water me with your words

So I can grow

Sunshine through me with your warmth

So I can open up to you

Rock me like a wave

So I can fall, fall in love with you.
