Best Sport of All Time...

Soccer. Just kidding, but seriously, I hope you didn't expect me to say airsoft.

In all honesty, I actually quite like the game but I can't help feel that it's a big waste of money. I'm far from an experienced player - as you can clearly see, since I still have those awful orange tips - but I still enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing through various game modes.

I began playing a little over four years ago. At the time, I was the epitome of a noob. I went straight to Amazon to buy myself a spring Famas (because I thought it resembled a Halo BR), without realizing that something so cheap was probably a piece of trash.

It didn't take long for me to upgrade to an AEG, but even then I wasn't completely satisfied. I didn't have adequate gear nor nearly as many guns as I wanted. After many mistakes (and quite a few returns), I found myself standing in the Evike store buying my PDW. At the time, I saw this as a dawn of a new age; I figured I would be playing airsoft for years to come and that this was only the beginning.

As the end of highschool drew nearer and nearer, I realized that my dream of frequently playing airsoft was becoming less and less a reality. My friends became increasingly less interested in the sport, as guns broke down and games got old.

It wasn't until the summer after senior year that I found myself with a lot of time on my hands and wanting way too many things that I had no use for. I later realized, partly because I ended up getting a job, that airsoft had wasted a lot of my parents money and distracted my attention from things that mattered.

Though the sport is great for hanging out and doing something different, if it's not your main hobby, it's hard to truly enjoy it.

Will say though, I had quite a few good times with these bulks of metal and plastic :D
