Ribble 1028 (XTF 802L), 1046 (UTF 726M) and 921 (FCK 921F)

A 1973 Leyland Leopard/Duple sits next to a similar 1974 model and alongside a 1968 Willowbrook bodied dual purpose Leopard. Seen next to Skelhorne Street BS and depot in July 1979. All three were allocated to Liverpool at the time. 1028 spent most of its Ribble service on Merseyside. New to Liverpool before moving on to Southport then Bootle, it spent short spells at Skelmersdale and Wigan it ended its days outside of Merseyside, in Lancaster. 1046, in contrast, was only briefly at home in Liverpool as it had called Burnley as home and did go back there before a spell at Chorley and ended its days at Preston. 921 led a more nomadic life at Kendal, Aintree, Blackpool, Liverpool and Blackburn.
