A 1959 Leyland PD3/Massey seen in unfamiliar surroundings on the A6 near to Pendlebury Children's Hospital as it was 'on hire' to LUT due to a vehicle shortage at Swinton depot between December 1976 and February 1977. This was caused by the need to re-certify the batch of 50 Plaxton bodied Seddon Pennine RUs.
