Tooth Fairy
The photographer is an artist and a creator of dreams. When my second daughter lost her first tooth, she was extremely excited about receiving a visit from the tooth fairy. I told her that I would set my D300 in her room on a special setting that would cause it to trigger if any unusual activity occured. After she fell asleep I took a thirty second exposure in her dark room and used a simple penlight to draw the path of the tooth fairy, as well as the tooth fairy herself! (I shined the light between my fingers to give the red glow) I then "painted" Emily with light, using the same penlight. There was no photoshop, this is the image straight from the camera. Emily couldn't believe that we actually captured a picture of the toothfairy!
