The citrus plant is still quite small but better than before. The little manuka has become more bushy after I pruned it last winter.
I know, I remembered the today 3 months ago. Did you remember that too so you brought up the subject sometime today? But it's strange that that chn search engine returned the result and not the others?
Or was it not you? It's an odd phrase to search though.
I read the message around 1pm+.
Forgot to tell you, that swaying tree is gone. My cable TV couldn't work properly since 1/2 year+ ago - I thought it's the tree that had grown taller - but I didn't bother since I'm too busy talking to you. My mom, when she was here, couldn't watch the TV so I contacted the cable TV people to check. He came and said, it's that tree that blocked the signal. He said should chop off one of the extending branches. I called up the council - I asked them to come and chop off one branch. They came one day, the week before I went to US, but my mom had already gone to AU, and they chop off the WHOLE tree! I was quite shocked when I came home that day. That area looks brighter now. The TV now is ok too, but I'm still not watching it.
I killed that tree, indirectly. I'm trying to console myself that the tree is not healthy. Yellowed leaves, branches out of the way (pushed out by the trees in the reserve) and thin. My neighbour's mother also suggested me to have the tree cut down some months ago. My parents don't like that tree too. But I thought I quite like it because sparrows rest on that tree and look at the cat sometimes.
Anyway it's gone. So no more big sways during gale winds. But the log is left behind. In the reserve ground. I feel a bit guilty every time I go to the compost bin and see the log. I can only console myself the other trees have more space?
